Jody Katz, DVM is the owner and a veterinarian at Lake Pine Animal Hospital in Apex, North Carolina. She earned her veterinary degree from the University of Georgia in 1992 and completed a year-long rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery. After practicing in North Georgia and Florida, she joined Lake Pine in 2013 and became an owner in 2016. She writes about preventive care, chronic condition management, and helping families understand what their pet’s care actually involves.
