Veterinarian

Starting at a very young age I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian, and I had a great support system to get me to where I am today.

I grew up in Wilmington, NC and loved spending my summers near the ocean. I started working in veterinary hospitals at the age of 16 and decided I would work as hard as I could to join this amazing profession. I went to NC State for my undergraduate degree and graduated in 2015 with a degree in Biology with minors in Genetics and Animal Science. Before getting into the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine I was involved with their Turtle Rescue Team as well as doing research with one of the orthopedic specialists there at the time.

Upon graduation from NCSU CVM in 2019 I started my journey as a small animal general practitioner in Mebane, NC where I quickly gained experience as a new graduate. I especially enjoyed the relationships I got to build with my clients.

In the summer of 2021, my husband and I moved to Clayton, NC and I joined the Lake Pine Animal Hospital family. I enjoy coming to work every day, spending time with doctors and staff that provide the best care for all the animals we get to meet. My interests include pain management, rehabilitation, and internal medicine. I especially enjoy getting to work with clients to formulate the best treatment plans for their pets. I have two dogs named Sierra and Tula. They are the goofiest, sweetest dogs ever. I love to travel, spend time at the beach, and work on projects around our house.
